Your testimonial, the full version
Don’t let fear stop you from trying something new. That’s what I kept telling myself before applying for Erasmus and throughout my stay in Sweden. This, and any exchange, is the perfect opportunity to travel, learn, meet new people, and build connections that can last a lifetime.

I had the chance to immerse myself in a new culture, experience a completely different education system, and grow in ways I never expected. I met incredible people from all around the world whom I will proudly call friends for the rest of my life. I got inspired to try so many new things, and I even found the idea for my Master’s thesis while studying there.

In the end, I came back richer; with knowledge, unforgettable memories, inspiration, and friendships from all over the world. Erasmus truly made me feel like I was part of something big and incredible.

Your topic-specific testimonial
I have had an extremely positive study experience at Gothenburg University. Sweden takes work–life balance very seriously, and this is reflected in the academic environment. Professors carefully consider how much time students realistically need for assignments, readings, and projects. They genuinely respect students’ mental well-being, which creates a very supportive atmosphere.

During my mobility, I learned to manage my time more effectively, to participate more actively in discussions, and to approach academic tasks with more independence. The teaching style is very student-centred, and I felt encouraged to explore topics that truly interested me.
One of the most important outcomes of my exchange is that I became inspired and finally figured out the topic for my Master’s thesis. The courses I took, especially those related to education and learning, helped me see my field from new perspectives and sparked ideas that I had not considered before.
