I am so excited to finally start my Erasmus journey at KU Leuven! Moving from Rome to Brussels by train and bus felt like a real adventure from the very first minute. Even when things didn't go exactly as planned, like a big delay in Milan that forced me to stay the night, I decided to treat it as a happy accident. Instead of being stressed, I spent the evening exploring the beautiful Milanese streets—it was like a bonus mini-trip I never expected!

The most magical part happened the next morning on the 6:00 AM train. I was quite tired and fell asleep for a bit, but when I woke up an hour later, I couldn't believe my eyes! The world outside the window had turned completely white. Seeing the heavy snow covering the villages and fields was a total shock and so beautiful. It was one of those "main character" moments where you realize that if you had just taken a plane, you would have missed this entire snowy wonderland.

After two wonderful days in Paris, I took a bus for the final leg to Brussels. As an architecture student, seeing the cities and landscapes change slowly from the ground was incredibly inspiring. This journey taught me that traveling green isn't just about the planet; it’s about the amazing stories and memories you collect along the way. I arrived in Belgium feeling energized, happy, and so ready for this new chapter of my life!
