Choosing Bucharest as my Erasmus destination was one of the best decisions I have ever made. This city welcomed me with a warmth and vibrancy I didn’t expect, and it quickly became much more than a temporary home!

Bucharest is a city of contrasts in the most beautiful way: elegant architecture next to modern urban life, quiet parks opening into vibrant nightlife!
What truly made my experience unforgettable was the people. Romanians are open, friendly, and genuinely eager to share their culture.
The ESN Bucharest team is one of the most enthusiastic, dedicated, and supportive groups I have ever met. From the very first day, they made us feel at home. Their passion for creating unforgettable experiences was visible in every event they organised.

Academically, Bucharest exceeded my expectations. My university encouraged curiosity, collaboration, and creativity. I gained new perspectives, learned from passionate professors, and felt empowered to grow both personally and professionally.
In total, Bucharest turned out to be one of the best discoveries of my life!
