My Erasmus year at Chalmers in Gothenburg was truly one of the most meaningful chapters of my studies. The preparation took time and effort, but every step was worth it. From searching for housing to choosing courses, many things were new and sometimes challenging, yet exactly these moments made the experience so rewarding.

Academically, Chalmers impressed me with its practical and modern approach. I loved the hands-on projects, the group work, and the strong focus on sustainability that shaped almost every course. Even though the workload was solid, I always felt that I was in the right place. Gothenburg itself quickly won my heart. The mix of nature, sea, city life, and Scandinavian calm created an atmosphere that felt both inspiring and comforting. I enjoyed fika, sauna sessions, exploring the islands, and travelling across Sweden and its neighbouring countries. Of course, there were quieter and tougher moments, especially during the long winter, but they also shaped my experience and helped me grow.
