Your testimonial, the full version
Hi, my name is Tera, and I am a primary school teacher student from Prague who decided to take a bus ride to my Erasmus destination, Padova.
Taking the bus wasn’t a hard decision for me. I love long journeys. I love that the only thing I am supposed to do at that moment is sit down on the bus and do whatever I want. There is no other place to be — just me and the landscapes. I also got to journal which helped me clear my mind, and I really got to think about my goals and expectations for this Erasmus journey.
Choosing a sustainable way to travel turned out to be more than just an eco-friendly decision — it gave me the chance to slow down, reflect, and begin my Erasmus journey in the best way possible. If I had to choose again, I would still confidently go by bus. Erasmus can be quite fast-paced and stressful, so slowing down before it began made me realize that I don’t need to rush things. That is also something I am trying to embrace during my Erasmus experience.
