It is with a heavy heart that I came back home after Turin. Not of sadness, but heavy with memories, new friendships and experiences that I never thought I would live. Even though I only knew these people for 5 months, it seemed like we had been friends forever. We went on trips, to the bar, laughed, cried, and shared some of the most memorable experiences of my life. Many of them even invited me to their homes afterwards to experience more of the European lifestyle. All of this was mostly thanks to the amazing team of ESN Torino, who organised events, parties and trips every single week and who also became great friends by the end of my exchange. They welcomed us, helped us settle in a new country, and I cannot thank them enough. The country was beautiful and full of culture, food and drinks, but it is the people I met in exchange that really made this a unique experience.
